Not only am I a GP and mindfulness teacher, I'm also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Through my work in breastfeeding, I found that mindfulness could be an incredibly powerful tool to teach new mums to help them cope with the massive amounts of information coming to them from all directions when they have a new baby.
I aim to help new mums learn all the skills that will come in handy in those first few days, weeks and months of having a new born such as breastfeeding, sleeping and settling and balancing their own self care- in a mindful way. I have released both an online course Mama. designed specifically for new mums to do in their own time and space as well as a small group education course to help new mums to build some confidence and self compassion to help them navigate the transition to parenting a newborn.
